University Health Services launches new website

University Health Services (UHS) launched a new website Aug. 18, at http://studentaffairs.psu.edu/health online, replacing the old website at http://www.sa.psu.edu/uhs and incorporating student feedback and usability studies to present information and services in an even more user-friendly format.

A series of short videos available at http://studentaffairs.psu.edu/health/welcome provide an overview for new patients. The five short videos explain the appointment process, the first visit, billing, available services and myUHS.

Online services available through myUHS also are detailed through screen captures and additional information available at http://studentaffairs.psu.edu/health/myUHS online. MyUHS allows students to make appointments online, view and print billing statements and submit and review health information and questionnaires through a secure server.

Campus resources to help students become and stay healthy are available through Healthy Penn State, at http://healthypennstate.psu.edu online. Healthy Penn State provides students with resources to improve and maintain a healthy balance focused on nutrition, physical activity, sleep and stress relief.

"We hope that students will use the new site to explore the resources available at UHS", said Margaret Spear, director of UHS. Questions or comments about the new website can be sent to uhsmarketing@psu.edu.
