Sohail Anwar, associate professor of engineering at Penn State Altoona, recently published a book about applications of nanotechnology in telecommunications. "Nanotechnology for Telecommunications" offers a progressive understanding of topics, including background information on nanoscience and nanotechnology, specific applications of nanotechnology in telecommunications, and nanostructured optoelectronic materials.
Anwar was also recently selected as the guest editor for a special theme issue of the American Journal of Nanotechnology, a refereed journal published by Science Publications. The special issue is titled "Enabling Science and Nanotechnology (eScienceNano)."
