Goo Goo Dolls to perform at Eisenhower; tickets on sale now

University Park, Pa. -- The Goo Goo Dolls, one of the most enduring and popular American bands of the last two decades, will perform in concert Oct. 19 at Penn State’s Eisenhower Auditorium. Tickets are on sale now The Spill Canvas opens the concert.

Tickets for the Magic City Productions/SLP presentation are $39.75 for a section-one (orchestra and grand tier) seat and $34.75 for a section-two (balcony) seat. Tickets also are available at Eisenhower Auditorium (weekdays 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.), Penn State Tickets Downtown in the Downtown Theatre Center (weekdays 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.), HUB-Robeson Center Information Desk (weekdays 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.) and Bryce Jordan Center (weekdays 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.).

The Goo Goo Dolls, fronted by lead singer and guitarist John Rzeznik, have sold more than 10 million albums. Formed in Buffalo, N.Y., in 1986, the band has released the Billboard Top 10 hits “Slide,” “Black Balloon” and “Broadway.”

This tour, featuring Rzeznik and co-founding member Robby Takac, along with 15-year Goo Goo Dolls veteran Mike Malinin, supports the group’s ninth studio album, "Something for the Rest of Us."
