Penn State Beaver Theatre's will present spring children's play

"Tales from Mother Goose," a group of short plays based on a variety of the famous children’s rhymes, will be presented by Penn State Beaver Theatre in the spring semester of 2011. The production will be directed by Carol Schafer, associate professor of theatre, integrative arts and women’s studies. Students from the Production Practicum class will be on stage and behind the scenes. The class offers an introduction to all aspects of theatre production, including analysis, design, construction, production and performance.

School groups and other organizations are invited to attend the play which will be held at 10 a.m on Tuesday, March 29; Thursday, March 31; Tuesday, April 5; Thursday, April 7; Tuesday, April 12, and Thursday, April 14. On April 7, an 11:30 a.m. show will also be presented. A performance open to the general public will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, April 10. The play will be presented in the auditorium of the Student Union Building. Tickets are $3 per person.
