Hershey's Kisses Regatta raises more than $19,000 For CMN

The first  Hershey®’s Kisses® Regatta, held on Thursday, Sept. 9 at Intercoastal Waterway inside Hersheypark, raised more than $19,000 for Children’s Miracle Network at Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital, Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center.

At the event, Miracle Child, Sam Erikson, helped to launch 10,000 rubber Hershey’s Kisses that were dropped into the park’s Intercoastal Waterway attraction. Pediatric residents from Penn State Hershey Children's Hospital were the official “Kiss Catchers” who caught the winning 20 Kisses that raced to the finish line. Tickets for the Kisses were sold prior to the event. The purchasers of the first 20 Kisses to cross the finish line won prizes, including Hersheypark season passes. The names of winners and video clips of the event are posted online at www.pennstatehershey.org/cmn.

Dozens of sponsors, organizers, pediatric patients and their families attended the event, which was sponsored by Hershey Entertainment & Resorts and The Hershey Company. Children’s Miracle Network also would like to thank the numerous businesses and individuals who sold and purchased tickets.
