Workshops for Career Success lecture series to begin Sept. 24

University Park, Pa. -- The Graduate School Alumni Society is holding a brown bag lunch series titled "Workshops for Career Success: Real Life Skills to Get Ahead in Today's Job Market" for all graduate students and postdoctoral scholars at Penn State. The series begins at noon on Friday, Sept. 24, in room 102 of the Kern Building on campus. These lunchtime sessions cover topics that are not typically presented in the classroom and are led by Penn State graduate alumni who are established in their careers.

The first workshop, titled "Let's Talk Face to Face," will be presented by alumnus Robert J. Booz, whose research area of expertise is interpersonal and interorganizational communication with a focus on building relationships.
