Media Commons Tailgate to be held Nov. 12-13

September 23, 2010

Faculty and staff are invited to attend a free Media Commons Tailgate event from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, in Foster Auditorium at Pattee Library on Penn State's University Park campus. There will be a pre-conference workshop from 1 to 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 12.

The Media Commons Tailgate is a highly interactive event focused on exploring the possibilities for digital media in teaching and learning. This event will be an opportunity for faculty, instructional designers, educational technologists, library staff and others to explore new media technologies in-depth. Discussion will cover a range of issues from the technical to the pedagogical, and should offer something for attendees regardless of their background.

Lunch and light refreshments throughout the day will be provided for all attendees.
