The People's Pay for Play on 105.7 the X

WQXA 105.7 the X morning personalities, The People’s Morning Show, will begin a 28-hour marathon Pay for Play broadcast at 5 a.m. on Nov. 18 to raise money for Children’s Miracle Network at Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital. 105.7 The X, whose format is known as active rock radio, will allow listeners to “pay for play” by making donations of $25, $50, $100, and $500. The further the request is from the station’s normal format, the higher the bid must be. Morning show hosts Nipsey, Earl David Reed and Jen Shade have made the commitment to remain live on the air for the broadcast, which will conclude at 9 a.m. on Nov. 19.
