Count down to All That's Jazz

October 12, 2010

The final countdown to All That's Jazz has begun. At 7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 16, Penn State Greater Allegheny's annual All That's Jazz fundraiser will begin. This year's event, which will celebrate the musical greatness of the Pittsburgh Jazz Legacy, will feature lively entertainment by Pittsburgh Jazz legends and southern food with a soulful flair. Since 2004, All That's Jazz has raised $264,000 for the Penn State Greater Allegheny Scholarship Fund.

Performers will include Ben E. Benack Jr., Ben E Benack III, Roger Humphries, Max Leake Jr., Dave Pellow and Mark Strickland.

This year’s auction items include a weeklong vacation at Kiawah Island or the Riviera Maya and tickets for the Winter Classic. Live and silent auction items and the blue and white surprise boxes at $25, $50 and $100 dollars make it possible for everyone to get in on the fun.

It’s not too late to purchase tickets. General admission seating is $100 per ticket; for $125, participants can get a seat on a couch near the stage.
