Research Study: Volunteers with rheumatoid arthritis, celiac disease

Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center’s Nancy Olsen, M.D., is looking at levels of genes that are turned on or off in blood cells to detect patterns that are specific for different diseases to develop new blood tests for disease diagnosis. Volunteers are needed for this study.

To be eligible, volunteers must be 18 years of age or older, and have rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis or psoriatic arthritis, sarcoidosis, vitiligo, or celiac disease.

Participation requires a blood draw and answering questions.

Compensation is provided.

This research study, IRB 34611EP, has been approved by the Institutional Review Board, under federal regulations at Penn State Hershey Medical Center, Penn State College of Medicine.
