The Penn State Beaver Fall Faculty Speaker Series will continue with a presentation by an engineering faculty member and his student at noon Wednesday, Nov. 17, in room 16, Student Union Building.
James Hendrickson, instructor in engineering, will provide remarks about his Introduction to Engineering Design class and the value of student engagement via team projects throughout the semester. His comments will be followed by a presentation by Jessika Murray, a sophomore engineering major. Murray, a team leader, will provide an overview of her team's project, ‘Design of a Rapid Intervention Team (RIT) Pack for Firefighter Rescue.” She also will comment on the value of the team project and her experiences in the course.
