University Park, Pa. -- An exhibit of handmade books by Marilyn McPheron will be on display in room 125 of the Borland Laboratory (the Borland Gallery) on Penn State's University Park campus from Nov. 1 to 19. The gallery is open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The exhibit will feature "Oh No, More Snow," an original children's storybook with illustrated linocuts that McPheron completed as part of her Schreyer Honors College thesis project. A returning adult student, she will graduate in December with a bachelor of fine arts in printmaking.

The exhibit also will include a display outlining the steps McPheron took to create "Oh No, More Snow," as well as more than two dozen other books, including sketchbooks, that she has made in the past two years.
