WPSU announces Comcast 'video on demand' schedule for November

Comcast cable will offer several shows produced by Penn State Public Broadcasting on its Video on Demand service from Nov. 9 to Dec. 6.

Available from Nov. 9 to Nov. 15: “At the Movies,” (2008). Do movies speak to your soul? Do you dream of a career in or around the big screen? Bill Wine explains the movie viewing experience through the eyes of a critic.

Available from Nov. 9 to Dec. 6: “Internet Addiction,” (2004). When does Internet use turn from a hobby into an addiction? Experts Dr. Kimberly Young and Dr. David Greenfield discuss Internet addiction and how it can affect a person's personal life.

Available from Nov. 9 to Nov. 15: “Access Sue Paterno,” (2009). Join Sue Paterno, legendary activist for education and public service, as she sits down with reporter Kellie Goodman.

Available from Nov. 12 to Nov. 17: “Huddle Up Ohio State,” (2010). Steve Jones previews the big ten match up between the Buckeyes of Ohio State and the Nittany Lions. Mark Brennan and Jack Ham provide extra analysis. Also join a Big Ten Conference Call, and Joe Paterno's Press Conference.
 

Available through Nov. 29: “Inside a Typhoon,” (2010). The most prolific producer of tropical cyclones in the world is the western Pacific Ocean, but this year the numbers there are near historic lows. But even during relatively quiet years, some typhoons deserve a closer look.
