Flexible benefit reimbursement requests must be received by Dec. 3

Properly documented flexible benefit reimbursement requests received in the Employee Benefits Office no later than the close of business on Dec. 3 will be included in the final disbursement of the year, which will be generated on Dec. 15. The reimbursement process for 2010 funds will resume on Jan. 3, 2011. Employees submitting reimbursement requests should note that original documentation is required and faxes will not be accepted.

Money deposited to a health care flexible spending account in 2010 may be used to reimburse eligible out-of-pocket expenses incurred from Jan. 1, 2010 through March 15, 2011. Reimbursements from dependent day care flexible spending accounts will be for child care services incurred from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31, 2010. Reimbursement requests from 2010 funds may be submitted through March 31, 2011.
