In 2006, more than 20,000 Penn Staters crowded the Miami Beach Convention Center, awaiting the Penn State football team and head coach Joe Paterno at a pep rally hosted by the Penn State Alumni Association and Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics in advance of Tuesday night's Orange Bowl matchup with Florida State. Credit: Tysen KendigAll Rights Reserved.
