Wear Red Day activities

Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center goes red! In observance of National Heart Month and the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women campaign, the building, above the north entrance will be illuminated with red lights. These red lights will shine beginning February 4 and will continue to shine through the end of the month.

Faculty from Penn State Hershey Heart and Vascular Institute present two free community lectures this month on the topics of women and heart disease and heart health through the generations.

-- 6:30 p.m.,Thursday, Feb. 10: “Women and Heart Disease” presented by Joy Cotton at Penn State Hershey Medical Group - Camp Hill, 3025 Market Street, Camp Hill, Pa. -- 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 17: “Women of Today Shaping the Hearts of Tomorrow” presented by Deborah Wolbrette and Soraya Samii at the University Conference Center. Ladies are invited to attend and bring their daughters or granddaughters to learn more about heart health through the years. Free health screenings will be offered and the presentation will be followed by a healthy cooking demonstration and tasting. Registration is required. To register, call 1-800-243-1455.
