HUB-Robeson Galleries announces exhibits

The HUB-Robeson Galleries have announced an exhibit of photography by Abby Drey titled "Forgotten," and the 2011 Taiwan International Watercolor Exhibition.

-- From now until March 6, the exhibit "Forgotten," by Abby Drey, will be on display in the West Halls Cultural Lounge on the University Park campus, as part of the HUB-Robeson Galleries' Art-on-the-Move program. The exhibit explores the effects of nature's elements as they consume man-made items that have been forgotten. “Forgotten” is a collection of work from two adventures in central and eastern Pennsylvania. Drey is a professional photographer with a bachelor of fine arts degree in photography from Penn State.

-- From Feb. 24 to April 24, the Robeson Gallery in the HUB-Robeson Center will feature the 2011 Taiwan International Watercolor Exhibition. In association with the exhibit there will be a traditional tea ceremony from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. and a reception from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on April 7. The exhibit will be free and open to the public. The tea ceremony is sponsored by the University Park Allocation Committee, and seating at the ceremony will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
