Reducing cancer in our community

Penn State Hershey Cancer Institute, in partnership with the American Cancer Society, Pennsylvania Division, South Central Region, will host the seventh annual public forum “Reducing Cancer in Our Community” on Saturday March 12, in the University Conference Center on the campus of Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical  Center. The event will run from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. (8:30 a.m. registration) and discuss a range of cancer-related topics, including tobacco-related cancers, quality of life for cancer survivors, and participation in clinical trials. “Reducing Cancer in our Community” is free, and anyone with an interest in health-related issues is invited to attend, including community leaders, patients and families, patient advocate groups, teachers, and community organizations.
