WPSU announces Comcast 'video on demand' schedule for mid-February

Comcast cable will offer several shows produced by Penn State Public Broadcasting on its Video on Demand service in the coming weeks.

Available from Feb. 15 to March 7: “Time Traveler” (2011). Devastated by the loss of his father, Ron Mallett found hope in an unlikely place: H.G. Wells’ The Time Machine. Mallett, a physics professor at the University of Connecticut, discusses how his father’s death led him on a quest to build a time machine.

Available from Feb. 15 to March 7: “The New Normals,” (2011). Now that the first decade of the 21st century is complete, it's time to update the so-called "Normals," the daily and monthly climate averages that are commonly used for comparison and routinely quoted in the news media.
