USCAA National Basketball Championships March 2-5 at Fayette campus

The USCAA National Basketball Championships return to Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus, March 2-5. This marks the third year Penn State Fayette has hosted the championships. This year’s tournament events begin at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 1, with a basketball skills competition featuring three-point shooting and a dunk contest in the Main Arena of the campus’ Community Center. Championship action begins with a full bracket on Wednesday, March 2, and continues daily through Saturday, March 5.

Admission to the tournament is $7 per day for persons 14 years of age or older. Children and Penn State Fayette students are admitted free. Advance tickets are not needed; tickets can be purchased at the door. All 44 games of the tournament will take place at Penn State Fayette and will be played in either the Main Arena or the Maltho Gym.

Penn State Fayette’s women’s team will face Briarcliffe College from Bethpage, N.Y, at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 2. The men’s team will follow at 7:30 p.m. against Southern Maine Community College from South Portland, Maine.
