Public invited to network with Penn State alumnus Steve Sheetz

The public is invited to attend a networking event with Penn State alumnus Steve Sheetz from 5:30-7:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 15, at the Grand Concourse in Station Square, Pittsburgh. The program is sponsored by Penn State Alumni Career Services and the Smeal Business Club of Pittsburgh.

Sheetz will discuss the entrepreneurial success of the Sheetz convenience store company and share the story of how a small, family-owned deli quickly became a chain of 365 convenience stores in six states. The program will offer a reception with hors d'oeuvres as well as an opportunity to meet and talk with Penn State alumni and friends.

The cost for Penn State Alumni Association members is $7 to preregister and $10 at the door. Non-member cost is $15 to preregister and $20 at the door.

The program is one in a series of networking events hosted in conjunction with Alumni Career Services throughout the East Coast. To register, visit www.pittsburghsmeal.org or send email to events@pittsburghsmeal.org.
