WPSU announces Comcast 'video on demand' schedule for March

Comcast cable will offer several shows produced by Penn State Public Broadcasting on its Video on Demand service in the coming weeks.

Available through March 28: “Penn State Universe,” (2010). Join us as we explore all things Penn State. Learn about the desperate search for the cause of an epidemic killing millions of honeybees. Find out ways Penn State has changed the world. Also discover the stories of Kim Cook and Mike the Mailman.

Available through March 28: “Global Penn State: Kenya,” (2010). This premiere episode tells the story of Penn State faculty members and students who travel to Kenya in order to provide practical, technology-based engineering solutions to the developing world's problems.

Available through April 4: “Wild Swings,” (2011). February featured some of the largest temperatures swings on record in the span of a week or less. The temperature turnaround was maximized in Oklahoma, but also very large in Pennsylvania.

Available through April 11: “Avoiding Colds,” (2006). Do you have a cold that you just can’t kick? Find out how to treat it and how to avoid it in the future.

Available through March 31: “Courtside with Coquese,” (2011). The Lady Lions had a great regular season and now turn their attention to the NCAA tourney. Head coach, Coquese Washington breaks down the season. Check out LadyLions.com for more info and video.
