University Park, Pa. — For the third week in a row, sophomore Sharaya Musser (Colorado Springs, Colo.) was named the Big Ten Gymnast of the Week. It is the fourth honor of the season for Musser and the fifth of her career.
Musser won every event title against Maryland and N.C. State on Friday in Penn State's home finale. Her performance led the Nittany Lions to a season-high score of 197.075 and a tri-meet victory. Musser posted a career-high 39.725 in the all-around for the crown, and also took first and earned career-best scores of 9.950 on beam and floor. Musser turned in a 9.925 effort on vault and scored a 9.900 on bars to also take first place on those two events.

The Nittany Lions close out the regular season on Saturday, March 12 at West Virginia. Penn State heads to the Big Ten Championship hosted by Minnesota on March 19.
