Beaver Lady Lions honored by PSUAC

The Penn State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC) announced post-season honors for the Penn State Beaver Lady Lions 2010-11 basketball season.

Senior Jasmine Green (Orange High School/Jersey City, N.J.) earned First Team All-Conference honors, including being named the PSUAC Player of the Year for the third time in her college career. She was also the 2010 PSUAC Player of the Year and named Player of the Year and Newcomer of the Year during her freshman year in 2008. She leaves Penn State Beaver as its all-time leader in points, rebounds, assists and steals. Green was a three-time USCAA First Team All-American (2011, 2010, 2008) and earned USCAA Honorable Mention All-American in 2009.

Senior Heather Sandusky (New Brighton High School/New Brighton, Pa.) was also named to the PSUAC All-Conference First Team for the fourth time in her career. Sandusky was named the PSUAC Player of the Year in 2009, a USCAA First Team All-American in 2011 and 2010, and a USCAA Honorable Mention All-American in her 2009 and 2008 seasons.

Junior Shelby Parks (Center High School/Aliquippa, Pa.) was named a PSUAC All-Conference Honorable Mention for the first time in her career.
