Myers to speak in pathology

The Department of Pathology Visiting Professor Lecture Series will be held at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, April 26, in the Pathology Conference Room, C7702, at Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey. Guest lecturer Jeffrey L. Myers, will present "Unexpected Findings in Lung Cancer Resection Specimens: Distinguishing Things That Matter From Those That Don't."

Myers is a world leader in pathology innovation and lung pathology. He currently serves as director of the Division of Anatomic Pathology at the University of Michigan and associate director of the Medical Innovation Center at the University of Michigan. He has authored more than 150 journal articles and book chapters and co-edited a pathology textbook. He is a dynamic and engaging speaker who invariably draws large crowds for his presentations at the USCAP and other venues.
