Thousands attend Movin' On 2011

Nine music groups won out over intermittent rain and cold temperatures at Movin' On 2011, Penn State's annual student-organized music festival, which took place on Friday, April 29. This year's event drew several thousand attendees, even while being held in a different location than previous years. While the HUB-Robeson Center lawn has hosted the event before, this year's concert series took place in the open field adjacent to Bryce Jordan Center and Beaver Stadium. Bands involved in the festival included The Good News, Atlas Soundtrack, The Zac Sobel Band and 5 Cherry Lewis, followed by headlining bands Mates of State, Little Big Town, Lupe Fiasco and O.A.R.
