An Assisted Living program is scheduled to be offered at Penn State Greater Allegheny from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, June 1, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday June 2. Sessions will be held in Frable, Room 205. The program will include units of study in neurological impairments, infection control, aging in place and the availability of services to support aging in place, person-centered care and informed consent.
Penn State Greater Allegheny is currently the only approved Institution in the State of Pennsylvania to have received approval from the Department of Public Welfare to offer the program.
