Greater Allegheny launches Video Learning Network classroom

Penn State Greater Allegheny will offer a 15-credit post-baccalaureate Counseling Youth at Risk certificate program. Participants can enhance their ability to serve vulnerable youth -- as they fulfill requirements to maintain their professional credentials.

Penn State’s new certificate, Counseling Youth at Risk, can provide a solid base for working with children and adolescents who are dealing with family problems, addiction, depression, sexuality issues, suicide and other issues. Classes start Aug. 23.

These classes will be delivered in the new Video Learning Network (VLN), in room 205 of the Frable Building. VLN uses technology that integrates multiple Penn State locations into one leanring environment.
