Classic Broadway musical comedy will be presented July 28-30

Tickets are on sale now for the Center Theatre Players production of the Tony Award-winning musical comedy, "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum." The show will be held at 7:30 p.m. from July 28-30 in the auditorium of the Penn State Beaver Student Union Building. The play, which is being presented as part of the Brodhead Cultural Center’s 35th summer series, will be directed by Sandy Reigel. Songs from the show include "Comedy Tonight" and "Everybody Ought to Have a Maid." The play debuted on Broadway in 1962 and has been revived frequently since then in the United States and London, England. The 1966 film featured comedy greats Zero Mostel, Phil Silvers, and Buster Keaton.
