Police seeking information on missing banners

University Park, Pa. -- Penn State University Police are investigating a theft that occurred at the McCoy Natatorium off of Bigler Road sometime between 8 p.m. on July 8 and 9 a.m. on July 10. Two large banners were removed from the swimming area. One of the banners said “gopsusports.com” and the other said “Penn State Swimming and Diving.” The banners are valued at $425.

Anyone with information about the removal of these banners should contact University Police at 814-863-1111 or Centre County Crime Stoppers at 877-99-CRIME.
Anonymous tips can be submitted at http://www.police.psu.edu/witness/ online.  People providing information that leads to an arrest may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.

University Police remind the community to:
-- Secure valuables.
-- Always lock residence hall doors.
-- Report any suspicious people or activity on or near campus to University Police at 814-863-1111 or call 911 immediately if the situation warrants.
