Tickets for musical comedy, Forum, are on sale

Tickets are on sale for the Center Theatre Players production of the Tony Award-winning musical comed, ‘A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum.’ The show will be held at 7:30 p.m. on July 28, 29 and 30, in the auditorium of the Penn State Beaver Student Union Building. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Brodhead Cultural Center office at 724-773-3610 or by sending an email to Tickets will be sold at the door at 6 p.m. prior to each performance.

The play, presented as part of the Brodhead Cultural Center’s 35th summer programming series, is directed by Sandy Reigel, who attended Beaver campus and graduated from Penn State University Park.

Songs from the show include "Comedy Tonight" and "Everybody Ought to Have a Maid." The play debuted on Broadway in 1962 and has been revived frequently since then in the United States and London, England. The 1966 film featured comedy greats Zero Mostel, Phil Silvers, and Buster Keaton.
