Furlong to discuss earthquakes at Research Unplugged kick-off Oct. 12

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Research Unplugged, the speaker series that brings Penn State researchers into the community for lively public discussions, kicks off its eighth year this Wednesday, from noon to 1 p.m., at the Penn State Downtown Theatre on Allen Street in downtown State College. Kevin Furlong, professor of geosciences, will lead a discussion titled “Finding Fault: Earthquakes Around the World (Including Where They Shouldn’t Be!).”
