UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Research Unplugged, the speaker series that brings Penn State researchers into the community for lively public discussions, this week focuses on a student-led research project in public health.
Schreyer Honors Student Ce Zhang and recent Penn State alum Adam Mosa will discuss their research in a talk titled, “What’s a Tippy-Tap? Promoting Hand Hygiene Among Uganda’s Schoolchildren.” Presenting with them will be their faculty adviser, Stephen Matthews.
Research Unplugged events are held on Wednesdays from noon to 1 p.m., at the Penn State Downtown Theatre on Allen Street in downtown State College.
As always, the programs are free and open to the public, with complimentary light refreshments available.
