UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- College of Communications lecturer John Beale gave his COMM 269 (photojournalism) students some experience in research as well as photography in a recent assignment. The students had to document a typical day on Penn State's University Park campus. In advance, they researched what they wanted to shoot, and at what time, and cleared their plans with Beale before they executed the assignment.
