Campus Climate for LGBT Students is focus of Nov. 9 Research Unplugged

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Research Unplugged, the speaker series that brings Penn State researchers into the community for lively public discussions, this week presents Sue Rankin, associate professor of education policy studies and college student affairs.

Rankin will lead a discussion on "Gay on Campus: Creating Safe and Welcoming College Climates for LGBT Students."

Research Unplugged programs are held from noon to 1 p.m. on Wednesday at the Penn State Downtown Theatre on Allen Street in downtown State College, Pa.

As always, the programs are free and open to the public, with complimentary light refreshments available.
