The Penn State Law Review will hold a webinar of its symposium titled “The Deal Lawyers’ Guide to Public and Private Company Acquisitions” on Nov. 18. The webinar will feature two sessions -- one on private company acquisition and one on public company acquisition. Both sessions will be followed with a live question-and-answer session with Professor Sam Thompson, director of the Center for the Study of Mergers and Acquisitions at Penn State Law. Thompson will be joined by Byron Egan of Jackson Walker LLP following the private acquisition panel, and also by Richard Climan of Dewey and LeBoeuf LLP following the public acquisition panel.
The two sessions are worth three free Continuing Legal Education credits.
