Professor publishes 27th book, 'Real-Time Systems Design and Analysis'

December 08, 2011

Phil Laplante, professor of software engineering at Penn State Great Valley, has completed his 27th book with another book due for publication this spring. Laplante’s prolific literary portfolio began while writing short stories in high school. He credits his success as an author to his editorial credentials, serving as both an editor for several industry-related publications and a reviewer of technical writings. His most recent book, “Real-Time Systems Design and Analysis,” focuses on mission-critical software systems. While Laplante’s publications are technical and industry-focused, his unique writing style is personal and occasionally humorous.
