'Conversations LIVE' explores hot topics with interactive call-in show

Penn State Public Broadcasting continues to offer high-quality local programming with “Conversations LIVE,” a monthly, interactive call-in show that features hot topics and provocative guests for Central Pennsylvania viewers.

WPSU host Patty Satalia will lead guests in lively debate about current subjects that affect residents of Pennsylvania. The program will air monthly on Thursdays at 9 p.m. on WPSU-TV, featuring the following topics:

-- Feb. 23: The New Concussions Bill -- About 300,000 Americans will suffer a sports-related concussion this year. The Pennsylvania legislature recently passed a bill aimed at reducing the number of head injuries among young athletes by imposing stricter regulations on interscholastic sports. A panel of experts will explain the measure and answer questions about head injuries. Ruben Echemendia, neuropsychologist and owner of Psychological and Neurobehavioral Associates Inc.; Alison Krajewski, athletic trainer at State College Area High School; and Adam Yarger, student at Penns Valley Area High School; are confirmed guests.
