Informational sessions for Health Advocate Program announced

Health Matters has announced two informational sessions for the Penn State Health Advocate Program. Penn State employees may now receive all of the benefits of a traditional employee assistance program combined with a “Healthcare Help” service. Health Matters recently introduced Health Advocate, a new program for benefits-eligible employees and their family members.

With Health Advocate’s “All-in-1” plan, employees have access to free, short-term professional counseling and personalized assistance to help them navigate the complexities of the healthcare system, such as finding the right doctors, locating eldercare services, or learning about medical conditions and treatments. To help employees understand the many features of the Health Advocate program, Health Matters will hold two webinars: the first from noon to 1 p.m. on Jan. 31; the second from noon to 1 p.m. on Feb. 24.

To participate in one of the webinars, register at https://app3.ohr.psu.edu/emPower/frm_login.cfm.
