March 07, 2012

The Penn State Commission for Women’s Mentoring Program is accepting applications for protégés and mentors for the 2012-13 academic year. Full-time Penn State employees may apply online at http://equity.psu.edu/cfw/programs/application. The application deadline is Friday, May 4, 2012.

The mentoring program promotes professional and personal development for full-time Penn State faculty, exempt and nonexempt staff, and technical-service employees, by pairing protégés with mentors who can provide advice and resources to help them meet their individual and specific professional goals such as career planning, job skills enhancement and greater University involvement.

Open houses hosted by the Mentoring Program committee members will be held from noon to 1 p.m. on the following dates for anyone interested in learning more about the program:

-- Wednesday, March 14, Room 104 Armsby Building
-- Tuesday, April 3, Room 217 Grange Building
-- Wednesday, April 18, Room 420 Kern Building

Additional information and a promotional flyer are available at http://equity.psu.edu/cfw/programs or contact Sara Brennen at sbrennen@psu.edu or Janice Dauber at jmk5@psu.edu, co-chairs of the mentoring program committee.
