Spring 2012 CEO Conversations series continues at Penn State Fayette

March 21 event features president/CEO of Uniontown Hospital

UNIONTOWN, Pa. – Paul Bacharach, president and CEO of the Uniontown Hospital and Fayette Regional Health System, will continue the spring 2012 series CEO Conversations at Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus from noon to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 21, in the campus’ Community Center Bird’s Nest Café. This free event is open to the public.

Bacharach took on the role of president and CEO of the Uniontown Hospital and the Fayette Regional Health System in 1992. He has overall administrative responsibility for both organizations, and their related subsidiaries include a home health and hospice agency and an extensive network of physicians.

In 1976, Bacharach received a bachelor of science degree in zoology from Ohio University. Then in 1983 he received a master’s degree in health administration from the University of Pittsburgh.

CEO Conversations is an initiative of the late Emmanuel I. Osagie, chancellor of Penn State Fayette from 2007 to March 2010. The program is designed to give students the opportunity to hear from and talk with key individuals in the local, regional, and national business communities about business, entrepreneurship and leadership. The 2012 guest speaker series is being sponsored by Joseph A. Hardy III.
