March 21, 2012

Alan Guttmacher will be the keynote speaker of Penn State Hershey Children's Hospital's Pediatric Research Day, which will take place from noon to 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 5, at Hershey Lodge and Convention Center.

Guttmacher, director of Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development, will present “The Future of Pediatric Research and Practice” at 3 p.m.

The afternoon will feature oral and poster presentations on advances in both clinical and basic research of children’s health issues. It will be an opportunity to network with other researchers and identify potential collaborations that will help produce tomorrow’s breakthroughs.
