Opportunity to benefit the community by enrolling in EMT Classes

UNIONTOWN, Pa. -- In light of the current shortage of emergency medical technicians in the area, EMT classes are being offered at Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus beginning on Sunday, April 15.

The course consists of instructional and skills training and meets the requirements set forth by the Department of Transportation. Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive a certificate from Penn State and will be eligible to set for the Pennsylvania state EMT practical and written tests.

The EMT classes will take place on Sundays from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. and on Wednesdays from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Hiller Volunteer Fire Department in Brownsville, Pa. The classes will run from April 15 through August 5.
