Penn State Health Matters partners with Weight Watchers

Penn State’s Office of Human Resources has partnered with Weight Watchers to offer the Weight Watchers program to all full-time employees at a substantial discount. Weight Watchers offers flexible solutions to help employees reach their weight-loss goals through two unique programs; Weight Watchers Meetings with Monthly Pass as well as the Weight Watchers Online program.

Penn State is committed to helping employees achieve their weight-loss goals and improve their overall health by contributing 50 percent of the cost for the Weight Watchers services for the first six months of enrollment.

The Weight Watchers Monthly Pass provides employees guidance from a leader and support from other program participants. Employees can attend unlimited local meetings with the monthly pass and will have access to free eTools, the Internet companion to meetings. The Monthly Pass Program is available to eligible employees at select Penn State campuses. For a full list of participating campuses, visit the Health Matters website at http://ohr.psu.edu/health-matters/weight-watchers-program.

Employees who enroll with Weight Watchers Online can follow the plan at their own pace, anytime, anywhere. Weight Watchers provides a tailored website that serves the unique needs of both men and women and provides interactive online tools like a weight tracker, progress charts and restaurant guides. Weight Watchers Online is available to eligible employees at all Penn State campuses.

To enroll, employees will need their Penn State ID number and will need to obtain unique Company ID and Passcode, found here: http://ohr.psu.edu/health-matters/weight-watchers-program. Employees can then proceed to register and enroll on the Weight Watchers website https://wellness.weightwatchers.com.
