County Commissioner to speak at 2012 Spring Commencement

Franklin County Commissioner Bob Ziobrowski will address the graduating class at Penn State Mont Alto’s 2012 Spring Commencement ceremony. Ziobrowski was first elected to his post in 2007, and he was re-elected in 2011. He is a member of the Penn State Mont Alto Advisory Board, the Harrisburg Community College Franklin County Advisory Board and the Wilson College Alumni Advisory Board.

Ziobrowski was born and raised in Chambersburg, Pa., and he holds a bachelor of arts in economics from Wilson College. He also owns and operates Ziobrowski Appraisals, a real estate appraisal firm. He has served as president of the Chambersburg Area School District Board of Directors, and chairman of the Chambersburg Hospital Board of Directors. Ziobrowski's wife, Ann, began her Penn State education at Mont Alto before graduating from University Park in 1978. Bob and Ann have been married 31 years and have two grown sons.

The Penn State Mont Alto 2012 Spring Commencement ceremony is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 5, in the Multipurpose Activities Center on campus. Mont Alto is the oldest Penn State campus outside of University Park and has been graduating students for more than 100 years.
