Harrisburg alumna recognized for professional accomplishment

Penn State Harrisburg alumna Meghan Jasani was recognized with the 2012 Penn State Alumni Association’s Alumni Achievement Award. She is the fifth Penn State Harrisburg graduate to receive this honor.

Established in 2005, the Alumni Achievement Award recognizes alumni 35 years of age and younger for their extraordinary professional accomplishments. These prominent young alumni are nominated by an academic college and invited by the University president to share their expertise with students, faculty and administrators. Awardees receive a cast bronze medallion and framed certificate. This year 11 alumni were honored at a dinner ceremony on the University Park campus.

Jasani, a 1999 finance major, is vice president and product manager for J.P. Morgan Worldwide Securities Services, a subsidiary of JPMorgan Chase, which provides mutual fund accounting, mutual fund administration, and pension accounting services to asset managers and institutional managers. She is responsible for pricing services for new and existing clients, and she works closely with the company’s finance team.

In 2006, Jasani received an MBA from Columbia University and has since served as a mentor to incoming students in its Executive MBA program within J.P. Morgan. She is also involved with Boston’s Women in Finance and the Boston chapter of the Columbia Business School Alumni Club.

Previous Penn State Harrisburg winners include Heather L. Neary ’09 (2010), Erik P. Keptner ’94 (2008), Alex Guk ’00 (2007), and Stephen C. Burkholder ’94 (2005).

Jasani resides in Boston, Mass.
