Aerospace's Wingate wins Sigma Tau Gamma award

Brandi Wingate, an aerospace engineering senior at Penn State, received the Sigma Gamma Tau Mid-Atlantic Region Undergraduate Student Award. Wingate serves as the president of the Penn State Sigma Gamma Tau chapter, the national aerospace engineering honors society.

The Sigma Gamma Tau Undergraduate awards are given annually and each chapter submits a candidate to be considered for the regional award. A national winner is then chosen from the regional award recipients.

Wingate will graduate this month and will work for Ball Aerospace and Technologies in Boulder, Colo.
