Building international engagement into teaching and learning

In April, Denise Potosky, professor management and organization at Penn State Great Valley, had the opportunity to serve as a visiting professor at the University of Strasbourg, France, where she taught a course on international human resource management to the school’s undergraduate and executive masters of business administration students. This past May, her French colleague, Sebastien Point, a professor at the University of Strasbourg, taught “Developing Global Leaders: European Management Perspectives” to Great Valley’s management students. In a recent interview, the professors shared their professional and personal experiences – the cultural and academic similarities and differences, and the building of an ongoing collaboration.
