Langsdale to lead risk management organization

Gary Langsdale, University risk officer for Penn State, has been named president of the University Risk Management and Insurance Association (URMIA). Langsdale will be installed as president at the association's conference on Oct. 2. As president, he will work to achieve the organization's strategic goals and mission to advance the profession of risk management in higher education. He and the URMIA board of directors also will help meet the professional development and information needs of the association's members.
