UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Jelena Srebric, professor of architectural engineering, has been named to the advisory board of the journal Building and Environment.
Published by Elsevier, Building and Environment is an international journal focused on research, technology and tool development related to building science and human application with the built environment, as well as their applications to building design and operation.
As a board member, Srebric will assist Building and Environment in maintaining and improving its journal standards. Her teaching and research focuses on building energy consumption, air quality and multi-scale modeling of urban neighborhoods.
Srebric earned her bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Belgrade and her doctorate from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
